This ‘Specimen Answer’ Booklet contains specimen answers to questions from past papers for AQA History Paper 7042/IC and is based on marking criteria to gain a Level 5 or Level 4 grade, the marking guidance for each question, together with the feedback from the Examiner’s Reports for each year. It is divided into two sections. A sample of ‘Section A’ questions (Sources Section) from 2018-2023 and a sample of ‘Section B’ (Essay Section) from 2018-2023 past papers. This Specimen Answer Booklet is useful to students, not only for showing them how to link their answers to the Learning Objectives A01, A02 and A03 but also, how to structure their answers in the exam and complete them in time timescales allotted.
